Welcome to the Arterrarium

We encourage everyone to add to the show by making work on site in the arterrarium. Art, writing, music, dance, performance, lectures, ongoing projects, you name it - we welcome it as long as it responds to the theme. Experimental, interactive, and ongoing projects encouraged. Stop by anytime during mart hours to get to work/ play. Free and open to all peoples of all skill levels!

The Hobbit Hole

The Hobbit Hole was a top secret lair for hobbits, dwarves, elves, faeries, giants, dragons, and their friends. It was located across the street from frankenart mart for an unspecified number of decades, until it was cruelly demolished to make way for an ugly condo. There is a Mayan rumor that the Hobbit Hole was not completely destroyed but went underground and that it will rise again for the months of February, March and April, 2012, in a nearby storefront.

*If you think you can aid the secret resurrection of the Hobbit Hole in anyway, please contact us. There will be a conspiratorial gathering to unite forces and sacrifice hot dogs on Feb 5 at an undisclosed location from 1 to 6pm. Secret knock and cloak required to enter.

Be advised that the Hobbit Hole only allows sober carousing. There are an infinite number of establishments for imbibing spirits in the city - feel free to patronize them.
